Please join Canvass for a Cause, San Diego Americans for Safe Access and FIJA on Jury Rights Day, as we explore how to be a fully informed juror and protect our freedoms. This event will serve as a “train the trainer” for different social justice organizations, associations and individuals interested in bringing this information back to their coworkers, comrades and community.

Training will include:
– Why serving on a jury is important for social justice advocates
– Jury Nullification – what it is, debunking myths and concerns
– How to host public actions around this issue
– Getting on a jury – being truthful and getting progressive voices into the jury box

Port 72 Fresh Market welcomes and aids many non-profit organizations and we are very honored they are welcoming us! They will be putting posting the info on their marquee as well as on their website.
