This week’s Freedom Friday video shines a bright light on the jury selection process from a prosecuting attorney. In this excerpt from a 1980’s training video for prosecutors, then Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney Jack McMahon explains that the prosecution isn’t concerned with justice, but rather with winning the case. Based on this, he encourages prosecutors to exclude blacks, the poor, and smart people from juries. He even gives tips on how to disguise their ill intentions when challenged by the judge or the defense on their jury stacking efforts. For the full, uncut video, click here.
